LEWISTON, ID – A Tammany High School staff member has been arrested following an investigation into an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student, according to the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office.

On February 14th, a school administrator reported concerns to the Tammany High School Resource Officer. A detective with the sheriff’s office conducted an investigation, leading to the arrest of 53-year-old Clarkston resident Mary Strong on a felony charge of sexual battery of a minor.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged the cooperation of the Lewiston School District in the case. Authorities have stated that the investigation remains ongoing.
