Three Idaho County Residents Arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia

(Idaho County, ID) On August 24, 2024, at approximately 9:00 PM, an Idaho County Deputy was on routine patrol in  the Harpster area. He observed a pickup pulling a trailer loaded with wood and the taillights were  not on. He stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver and passenger. 

While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, K9 Millie and her handler arrived and performed  an open-air sniff of the vehicle and K9 Millie alerted. A vehicle search was then conducted, and  methamphetamine and paraphernalia were found. 

During the investigation, a woman pulled up and blocked the roadway directly behind the patrol  vehicles and the pickup involved in the traffic stop. She was the registered owner of the pickup. She  was asked to move her vehicle several times and requested not to interfere with the traffic stop.  After refusing to move, she was arrested for misdemeanor resisting and obstructing. 

Michael Fignani, age 32, 0f Kamiah, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of  methamphetamine, misdemeanor open container of alcohol by driver, and misdemeanor  possession of paraphernalia. 

Marty Sanford, age 48, of Harpster, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of  methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and was also cited for open  container of alcohol by a passenger and misdemeanor possession of a legend drug without a  prescription. 

Barbara Palmer, age 45, of Kamiah, Idaho was arrested for misdemeanor resisting and obstructing  an officer.
