Three Nez Perce County Bridges to Undergo Geotechnical Testing Starting July 6

NEZ PERCE COUNTY – Nez Perce County Road and Bridge Department announced there may be intermittent, daylight-only, one-lane closures with flaggers to three bridges in the county, beginning July 6.

Contract engineering crews will be performing a geotechnical analysis on the bridge foundations, this consists of pulling core drilled samples at various locations on each end of these bridges.

Bridges affected include:

  • Little Canyon Bridge-Peck, Idaho
  • Pine Creek Bridge-River Road (East of Cherrylane Bridge)
  • McIntyre Bridge-Sweetwater, Idaho

This work is scheduled to take place from July 6  to July 11.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and look for workers and equipment in the roadway, near these areas.
