TOO CUTE TUESDAY – It is Time for the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter’s Longest Resident to Find his Furever Home

LEWISTON – This sweet kitty Mario is currently the longest resident residing at the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter, and is looking for his forever home.

Back in 2019, Mario was found as a wee little baby running the streets with my siblings. He was transferred to LCAS where he was neutered and placed up for adoption. Mario quickly found a great home and enjoyed his daily snacks and never want for anything.

Unfortunately, Mario’s family decided to bring an addition home in the form of those things called “dogs”, and the dog decided he was a toy. To protect Mario, the family decided to surrender him back to LCAS to find a different home. Well, as you can imagine, he is a little salty about it, but their loss. He is a majestic being and he knows he can find the best home, without other animals.

Mario would prefer a quiet home, one with lots of sunlight so he can nap and soak in the rays. He loves, oh boy, LOVES to be brushed, so someone with the time to do that would be great!

The staff says Mario needs to lose some weight, so they’re telling interested individuals he needs to be on a diet. He is a little shy at first and doesn’t like loud noises or quick movements. However, if you give Mario a chance, he’ll be your favorite 20lb cat you’ll ever have!

Mario is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines.
