Construction of the new Nez Perce County Courthouse is well underway and approaching an important milestone. On Wednesday, Jan 24th at noon, construction crews, key project team members, and the County Commissioners will gather for a “Topping Out” ceremony. This tradition celebrates completion of the structural frame, marked by installation of the last steel beam. Prior to erection, the beam will be decorated with a flag and small pine tree, then signed by ceremony participants. The group will be meeting on the corner of 12th and F street.
