Trailer Fire in Culdesac Quicky Put Out on Thursday

Nez Perce County Sheriff

CULDESAC – On Thursday, April 14, 2022, at about 2:40 pm Nez Perce County Deputies and the Nez Perce Tribal Police Department were advised of a trailer fire in Culdesac Idaho. A Nez Perce Tribal Police Officer was first on the scene and advised the trailer was fully engulfed.

At the time no one knew if the person living in the trailer was inside. It was learned later no one was inside the trailer.

With the help of the Culdesac Fire Department, Nez Perce Tribal Fire Department, and the Nez Perce County Fire Department the fire was put out, and no other trailers were damaged.

The Idaho State Fire Investigator was contacted and arrived today to do his investigation along with the Fire Chief of Nez Perce County Fire. This case is pending.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all of the fire departments involved, the Nez Perce Tribal Police Officers for their assistance, and all the surrounding neighbors that helped to contain this fire to just the one trailer.
