On Tuesday, June 28, a planned rally occurred at the Idaho State Capitol building that resulted in two individuals being arrested. Counter-protesters also attended the rally.
At approximately 7:12 p.m., Idaho State Police made two arrests during the rally. One was for battery on a law enforcement officer; one was for disturbing the peace.
Idaho State Police was assisted by Boise Police Department. Both agencies were staged at the Idaho Capitol to provide security, and to protect everyone’s rights to peacefully protest.
The investigation is ongoing.
