Two Individuals Arrested on Multiple Charges After Traffic Stop Near Hells Gate State Park

On May 26, 2022, at approximately 1445 hours a Deputy stopped a vehicle on Snake River Avenue near Hells Gate State Park for speeding. During the stop, the deputy found that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license and the passenger was believed to be giving false information about her identity.

Other Deputies arrived on the scene to assist and probable cause was found to search the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle Deputies located methamphetamines, paraphernalia, and approximately 8 pounds of marijuana. Both adult female occupants were subsequently arrested for numerous charges. A disabled 10-year-old child, who was also in the vehicle, was placed into the custody of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Alissa D. Fisher (Church) 30 years old of Boise, was booked into the Nez Perce County Jail for the following charges:
Trafficking Marijuana
Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
Injury to a Child (Felony)
Introduction of contraband into a jail

Julie N. Fincher 37 years old of Spokane, was booked on the following charges:
Trafficking Marijuana
Injury to a Child (Felony)
Felony Warrant for drugs out of Payette County Idaho.

The two were also cited for various other misdemeanor charges.
