Juliaetta:
The holiday season is coming up fast and the lights are already going up at Juliaetta Centennial Park. We’d like to invite you all to join us for the Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, November 19. And new this year will be the Light the Park CHILI COOKOFF! Do you have a great chili recipe? Stir up a batch and enter this exciting contest. Tasting will begin at 4:00 pm. Purchase a cup for $2 and get one ticket to vote for your favorite chili. The contestant who receives the most tickets will win $20 and bragging rights for BEST CHILI. Second place will earn $10, third place will earn $5. Winners will be announced prior to the lighting. Interested contestants should contact Bonnie Whismore at (208)816-2954. Watch for more information on Facebook at Juliaetta-Kendrick 2.0. The park lights will turn on at 5:00 pm. Cocoa will be served, and donations received will fund next year’s lights. Watch for more information as the date draws closer.
Kendrick:
Light the Park Event will be held on Saturday December 2nd in the Kendrick City Park in coordination with the Lion’s Club. Santa will be lighting the Park up that evening. Look on the city Facebook page and flyers for his special arrival time.
