On Saturday, October 1 at about 7:05 p.m., the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, Timberline Rescue, and Weippe Fire responded to milepost 13 on Highway 11 for a vehicle vs cow accident.
It was discovered that Gary Simpson 65, of Sheridan, Oregon was driving south on Highway 11 when he hit a cow. Simpson and his passenger were not injured in the accident.
The owner of the cow has been notified and the vehicle was towed by Mile’s towing.
