Warrior Golfers Sweep CCC Weekly Honors for Second Time

JUAN PABLO QUISOBONI – MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

In the final tournament of his collegiate career, Quisoboni earned his first collegiate victory and helped the LC State men to a team win at the Whitman Confluence Classic. The senior from Colombia shot a 6-under, 66 in the first round to take a commanding lead and finished his tournament with a 74 for a 4-under, 140. Quisoboni won the individual title by two strokes to help the Warriors win by nine strokes.

This is the first weekly honor of Quisoboni’s career.

KYLA CURRIE – WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Currie continued her breakout season with a tie for third at the Whitman Confluence Classic in Walla Walla, Wash. The senior was the lone finisher in the top five outside of players from defending NCAA Division III champion George Fox. In her third straight top-three finish, Currie shot rounds of 74 and 76 for a 6-over, 150.

This is the second time this season Currie has won the award.

Warrior Golf concluded its fall season and will pick back up in March.
