Warriors Get Win Over Bethel in Friday Split

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – LC State Men’s Tennis opened its stay in Texas with a commanding 7-0 sweep of Friends University (Kan.) on Thursday. The Warriors dominated every match with just one battle needed three sets.
The victory improves the LC State record to 8-6 overall with two matches remaining on the road trip.
The Warriors dropped just five games in doubles play. The top two pairings of Itaru Kikuchi and Matus Rusnak (No. 1 doubles) and Austin Swing and Nell Rollin (No. 2 Doubles) each won 6-2. Rafael Bonnet de Larbogne teamed up with Daniel Tevez for a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Swing had the quickest singles win with a score of 6-1, 6-0 at the fourth slot. Bonnet de Larbogne (No. 3) and Rollin (No. 5) each dropped only two games in their victories. Rusnak earned the win at No. 1 singles in three sets.
