Meeting Highlights
- Board members will finalize SBE’s legislative and budget requests, as well as continue the discussion of platform priorities to consider for the 2025 legislative session.
- Building on last meeting’s robust delve into ethnic studies, this meeting’s discussion will focus on Board members providing direction on potential next steps for supporting ethnic studies. No action will be taken.
Public comment is welcome at 1:10 p.m. on September 5. Board meetings are a limited public forum and comments from members of the public are accepted on current agenda items or matters under the authority of the Board. Comment is subject to time limitations, typically between two and three minutes, and other restrictions at the discretion of the Chair. Any member of the public wishing to make a comment must sign up in advance of the comment period for the day. Those wishing to submit written comments may do so by emailing [email protected].
Those wishing to comment remotely must:
- Connect to the meeting via Zoom
- Use the comment window in Zoom to sign up for comment prior to the time noted on the agenda (and above)
- Have adequate quality audio connection for members to clearly hear and understand your comments. If members are unable to hear your comments you will be asked to submit your comments in writing to [email protected].
