Idaho County, ID- Released by Idaho County Sheriff’s Office

On June 15, 2023, at approximately 4:50pm an Idaho County Deputy responded to a residence to assist Idaho County Probation and Parole with a home visit, at the same time, Idaho County Dispatch received a call for a welfare check at the same residence.

After arriving on scene and investigating reports of a domestic dispute, the responding officer arrested William Ashton, 54, for felony domestic battery inflicting traumatic injury and felony attempted strangulation.
