PULLMAN –– The WSU Pullman campus will follow its inclement weather plan for commencement exercises on Saturday, May 7 due to the threat of rain and possible thunderstorms.
Graduates should not line up outside Beasley Coliseum for the 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 3 p.m. ceremonies. Rather, undergraduate students should proceed directly to the floor of Beasley Coliseum upon arrival. They will be seated by the college. Masters and Ph.D. students should line up inside the tunnel at court level and will process into the coliseum at the start of the ceremony.
Attendees are asked to arrive early and allow plenty of extra time for possible travel and parking delays due to the weather. The National Weather Service is calling for showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day on Saturday with a 70% chance of precipitation.
