FAQ’s For The Asotin County Aquatic Center

With the Lagoon Waterpark opening tomorrow, here are some questions we get asked all the time:
Q: When does the Waterpark open?
A: Our 2024 season goes from June 8th – August 17th.
Q: What are the hours?
A: Every day from 12:00-6:00p with extended hours on Fridays only until 8p.
Q: What are the prices?
A: Daily Prices are $12.49 for adults and 11.49 for youth & seniors. Children 5 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult 15 or old, in the water, within arm’s reach at all times.
Q: How much would it cost for my kids to spend the summer at the waterpark?
A: Summer passes for kids aged 6-17 are $34.99 if you live in Asotin County and $49.99 for non-residents.
Q: Can I just drop my kids off?
A: Yes, and no.
Children 5 and under must have someone, 15 and older, in the water within arm’s reach at all times.
Children 10 and under must have someone, 15 or older, in the facility with them the whole time, if this person is going to stay and be in the waterpark, there is still a charge for that, they will be charged full admission as they walk in the door but as they leave they can turn their dry guest wristband in for a $5 refund.
Children who are 11 or older, or here with a sibling (or someone responsible for them) that is 15 or older, may be left for the day.
Q: Do you guys have food?
A: Yes! Our concession stand is open anytime the waterpark is open, we sell pizza, burritos, bagel dogs, nachos and so much more!
Q: Can we bring in our own food?
A: Absolutely! We just ask you not to bring in any glass or alcohol. You can bring in a cooler, our staff will ask you to check it at the front door.
Q: How tall must my child be to go down the slides?
A: Children must be 48 inches or taller with no shoes on. We measure all kids at the front door and they will be given a wristband that shows they are tall enough.
Q: Can we bring in our own lifejackets?
A: Of course, they must be coast guard approved, there will be a label inside on one of the panels that shows this information.
Q: Can we bring in water wings?
A: No, we do not allow any inflatable toys, including water wings or pool floaties. If your child needs something to help them swim, we offer free lifejackets, located by the indoor wading pool, they can use while they are here.
Q: If we pay for the waterpark, can we also use the indoor pool?
A: Only when the waterpark is open.
Q: What if there is a thunderstorm?
A: If there is lightning is seen or thunder is heard, we clear all the outdoor pools for 30 minutes, if any activity is noticed within that 30 minutes, we restart the timer. No refunds will be given for pool closures due to storm activity.
