20 Latah County Sheriff’s Office Members Awarded Grand Cordon Award After Response in Bovill

BOVILL – Sheriff Skiles awarded the Grand Cordon Award to several members of the Latah County Sheriff’s Office for their collaborate effort on an incident in January 2022.

The Latah County Sheriff’s Office responded to a barricaded subject in Bovill, Idaho in January 2022. The Latah County Regional SWAT team was activated and responded to the scene. After 11 hours, the incident was resolved with no serious injuries or loss of life. This was a prime example of teamwork and unit cohesion. Each member involved played a direct role in the overall success of the operation. The following personnel received this award:
