20 LC State Fall Student-Athletes Garner Academic All-Cascade Conference Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Twenty LC State fall student-athletes earned the title of U.S. Bank Academic All-Cascade Conference, announced by the CCC on Thursday. Eight volleyball players, six men’s cross-country runners, and six women’s cross-country runners met the criteria of a 3.2 GPA or higher as at least a sophomore in standing.

Volleyball seniors Carli Berntson, Channa Hart, and Kenzie Dean each garnered conference recognition for the third straight year. Hallie Seaman earned her second award, and Jennah Carpenter, Cassidy Nelson, Jada Wyms, and Kierstyn York each brought home the honor for the first time.

Connor Turpin brought garnered academic all-conference honors for the fourth time in his career after doing so three times in the CCC and once in the Frontier. Conner May, Carter Gordon, and Luke Sellmann each earned their second award, and Brycen Brown and Griffen Parsells were tabbed academic all-conference in their first year of eligibility.

On the women’s side, Kelsey Henry, Abigail Peightal, and Brooklyn Shell all earned their third academic awards at the conference level. Abigail Gorton and Madison Howe took home the honor for the second straight year, and Grace McCormick tallied her first.
