LEWISTON – The annual Warrior Athletic Association’s Academic Lunch will be held on Jan. 23, 2024, at the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel’s Seaport Ballroom. The event will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Student-athletes who achieve grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester are honored along with a member of the faculty or staff who has gone above and beyond to help student-athletes achieve academic success.
This year, Physical Plant Administrative Assistant Angie McClain will be receiving the faculty/staff award for her work in helping Warrior student-athletes.
182 student-athletes will be recognized. Of those, 45 had perfect 4.0 grade-point averages in the fall. 41 were in the 3.75-3.99 range with 33 earning between 3.5 and 3.74, 36 from 3.25-3.49, and 27 from 3.0-3.24.
Tickets for the event are $30 and can be purchased at lcwarriors.com/waa. If you are unable to attend the event, consider sponsoring a meal for a Warrior student-athlete.
