2024 Warrior Golf Classic Set for Sunday, August 25

July 31, 2024

(LEWISTON, ID) – The annual Warrior Golf Classic four-person scramble will be held Aug. 25 at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club with an 11 a.m. shotgun start.

The tournament serves as a fundraiser for scholarships for student-athletes at Lewis-Clark State College. The event is put on by the Warrior Athletic Association, the booster club of LC State athletics

The registration fee is $125 per player or $500 per team, prior to 5 p.m. on Aug. 19. After that, the registration fee goes up $15 per player. The registration fee includes a light lunch, dinner, two drink tickets, green fees and a goodie bag. Golf carts are not included and must be reserved by calling the pro shop.

The tournament allows only one player per team with a 9 or less handicap. There will be divisions for men, women and coed teams with prizes for the winners.

Unique to this tournament is that all teams entered will be eligible for a team prize drawing. Teams can also purchase a rotating money ball where players rotate hitting a specially marked ball during the round. If they can finish the round without losing the ball, they also will be entered into a team prize drawing.

Coaches and student-athletes from LC State will be on various holes at the tournament for participants to meet and interact with. Some also will have games.

There also will be a raffle for Camp Chef Portable Flat Top 600 grill worth $550, among other prizes, along with other games.

On the day of the tournament, check in will start at 10 a.m., followed by a team prize drawing for all entered teams at 10:45 a.m. The shotgun start is at 11 a.m., and dinner and awards will begin around 4 p.m.

Registration is all online at lcwarrriors.com/warriorgolf.
