Asotin County Fire now Dubbed the “Gooseneck Fire” Reaches 100 Acres

(Asotin County, WA) A 100 acre and growing fire has broken out on Peola Rd approximately 20 miles East of Pomeroy, WA.

By the time fire crews arrived on scene the fire had already reached and burned 20 acres of farm land.

30-40 mph winds are driving the fire towards the Asotin Creek Drainage.

A Chinook helicopter crew is currently on scene offering aerial assistance.
