Attorney General Investigators Arrest Two Bonneville County Men for Alleged Sexual Exploitation of a Child

(IDAHO FALLS) – Attorney General Raúl Labrador has announced investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested two men on Thursday, December 21, 2023, for alleged sexual exploitation of a child.

26-year-old Elias Medina of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail. He has been charged with five (5) counts of distribution of sexually exploitative material and five (5) counts of possession of sexually exploitative material.

32-year-old Marcos Jiminez of Idaho Falls was also booked into the Bonneville County Jail. He has been charged with five (5) counts of distribution of sexually exploitative material and five (5) counts of possession of sexually exploitative material.

Homeland Security, The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho Falls Police Department, Pocatello Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, and the Idaho State Police assisted the ICAC Unit with the arrests.

“It’s a difficult task and it takes a toll on the staff who are so dedicated to the safety of Idaho’s kids,” said Attorney General Labrador, “but everyone on our ICAC team is committed to stopping the cycle of exploitation and removing these abusers from our communities.”

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
