Avista Customers in East Moscow to Experience a Planned Power Outage

(Spokane, WA) – Approximately 180 Avista electric customers in east Moscow in the area around 6th St and E 3rd St will experience a planned power outage on Tuesday, Aug. 20. The planned outage is expected to start at 8 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. 

Impacted customers will be notified. No road closures are expected during the outage time.

During this time, Avista crews will be replacing pad-mounted transformers. Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
