Avista customers in Lewiston to experience a planned power outage

Spokane, Wash. November 20, 2023: Approximately 314 Avista electric customers in Lewiston will experience a planned power outage starting on Friday, December 1. The planned outage will start at 2:00 a.m. and end at 6:00 a.m. The outage will impact Avista customers located in the Cougar Ridge Development and Pheasant Trails Subdivision on the east end of town. Impacted customers will be notified. No road closures are expected.

 

During this time, Avista contract crews will be performing infrastructure upgrades in the area. The work will be conducted at the intersection of Lapwai Road and Red Pheasant Boulevard in Lewiston. Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
