Lewiston, ID 12/14/2023 – Beautiful Downtown Lewiston (BDL), the esteemed administrator of the Business Improvement District (BID), and the City of Lewiston announced in the City Council meeting on Monday December 11th, the amicable mutual termination of their administrative agreement. This decision is deemed a lateral move for the Business Improvement District and its board, as the City and BDL part ways with shared respect and a commitment to the ongoing prosperity of the district.
Since its inception in 2020, Beautiful Downtown Lewiston has been the dedicated administrator of the Business Improvement District. During this time, BDL has successfully spearheaded various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the vitality and attractiveness of the downtown district.
The decision to mutually terminate the administrative contract is rooted in a strategic evaluation of the current landscape and the recognition that the City of Lewiston possesses the requisite resources to seamlessly continue and complete the ongoing and future projects initiated by BDL.
