American Red Cross Lifeguarding is your ticket to fantastic, rewarding work at almost all swimming facilities in the country. Upon successful completion, you will be certified not only in lifeguarding, but first aid, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer, and oxygen administration. This course is a blended learning course with half of the course online and the other half in the classroom. The online portion is to be completed before the first day of class. The cost of the course is $185.00 – Session 1: Monday March 27th – Wednesday 29th, 7am to 1pm. Session 2: Thursday March 30th – Saturday April 1st, 7am to 1pm. The Asotin County Family Aquatic Center will pay the cost of the course if applicants end up working as trained employees at the Aquatic Center for a full year.
