CHAS Health to Host Homeless Memorials

December 16, 2024

Spokane, WA – CHAS Health will honor individuals who died while living without a home this year at two memorial events.  This annual tradition brings together local community partners and those committed to ending homelessness to raise awareness of the struggles and humanity of those in our community without a home.

These events will include speakers from the unhoused community and those committed to ending homelessness as well as a tribute to the 149 people who we know died this year while experiencing homelessness in our service area.  Additionally, a visual representation of those members of our homeless community who have died this year with individual names placed on the fence outside the CHAS Health Denny Murphy Clinic in downtown Spokane, WA.
