The City of Lewiston 2023 Transportation Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is in the works and your input is crucial to prioritize and scope projects. The Transportation CIP is updated annually and requires adoption by the Lewiston City Council. Your input is sought to review the draft document and submit comments on project ranking, scope, or if projects should be removed or added prior to adoption. The annual public comment period for the Transportation CIP opened January 9, 2023, and closes February 9, 2023 at 12 p.m. The draft 2023 Transportation CIP and comment form can be found on the City website at www.cityoflewiston.org/masterplans

An Open House will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 5pm – 6pm at the Lewiston City Library’s Event Space located on the 2nd floor. The public can view the draft CIP, ask questions, provide comments, and discuss projects with City staff while enjoying light food and refreshments. Projects in the draft document have been ranked using City Council approved quantitative and qualitative criteria developed from public input. The draft 2023 Transportation CIP and all comments received will be provided to the Lewiston City Council for review and potential adoption on February, 27, 2023. A public hearing is also scheduled to take place at this meeting, during which the City Council will accept public comment on the Transportation CIP.
