On 2/21/23 at about 1:49 PM the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office and Lewiston Fire were dispatched to an injury collision near the intersection of Tammany Creek Road and 6th Street. Upon arrival Deputies located a 1995 Saturn that had left the roadway and overturned. There were three occupants in the vehicle that were all transported to St. Joes with injuries. 26 year old Allen Whitney of Lapwai was treated and released. 28 year old Sheldon Adair of Clarkston and 25 year old Hailey Benway of Post Falls were both admitted to with serious injuries.
The Idaho State Police responded to assist with the crash. Speed is believed to be a factor and the crash is still under investigation. If you have any information please contact Corporal Bollman at 799-3131.
