Darren Ulrich, physical education teacher at Jenifer Middle School, is retiring at the end of this school year. Mr. Ulrich has worked for the district for 30 years (1993-2023). He came to Jenifer after graduating from LCSC and has dedicated his entire career to the school.
Mr. Ulrich has also served as a coach. He has been a football and basketball coach every year throughout his career and was a wrestling coach for 23 years. He also coached track and girls basketball for 5 years.
When asked what he plans to do during his retirement, Mr. Ulrich said he is going to be the grandpa to his 3 grandkids! He also plans to golf, bike, and kayak. He says he will miss coaching and teaching kids that work hard.
