Enhancing Patient Access: Palouse Medical and Pullman Regional Hospital Share Epic System

October 29, 2024

(Pullman, WA) Pullman Regional Hospital is excited to announce its integration with Palouse Medical, a  leading provider of primary care in the region for over 30 years. This collaboration marks a significant  milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare access and services for our community.

“This integration offers an exciting opportunity to ensure continuity of care for our patients,” said Matt  Forge, CEO of Pullman Regional Hospital. “Having both the hospital and our clinics on the same system  creates smoother transitions between care providers, increase communication, and empower patients with  their better access to their health information.”

As part of this integration, Palouse Medical will now operate using the same electronic medical record  (EMR) system, Epic, which is used at Pullman Regional Hospital and its network of clinics. With Epic,  patients of Palouse Medical will have access to their health information through MyChart, an easy-to-use  platform available as a mobile app or online. MyChart allows patients to manage appointments, view test  results, and access their medical records at any time, from anywhere.

Palouse Medical’s long-standing commitment to quality healthcare remains unchanged. Patients will  continue to see their familiar healthcare providers and maintain their scheduled appointments without any  disruption. This partnership is designed to strengthen Palouse Medical’s workforce, enhance patient care,  and provide stability and growth for the clinic, ensuring more accessible healthcare on the Palouse.

This integration was finalized on October 14, 2024, marking a new chapter in healthcare for the Palouse  region. Together, Pullman Regional Hospital and Palouse Medical are committed to delivering seamless,  coordinated care that enhances patient experience and improves outcomes for our community.
