Firefighters Charitable Foundation, Local Business, and Back the Blue LCV Unite to Support Injured Nez Perce County Volunteer Firefighter

Lewiston, Idaho – The Lewiston Firefighters Charitable Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the state of Idaho, is proud to announce a collaborative effort with Snake River Arms and Back the Blue LCV to support Jimmy Ralstin, a Nez Perce County Volunteer Firefighter who suffered severe burns while bravely battling a wildland fire on May 15th in unincorporated Nez Perce County. Together, they are organizing a charity raffle to raise funds to aid in the firefighters’ recovery.

The highlight of this charity raffle is a generous donation from Snake River Arms. Bill and Trent Aubertin, owners of Snake River Arms, have kindly donated, for Idaho residents, the winner’s choice of a Ruger SFAR 7.62 x 51mm Rifle or a Savage Arms 110 Ultralite 6.5 PRC Rifle. Unfortunately, due to differing firearm laws, Washington residents will only be eligible for the Savage Arms option. These exceptional firearms represent the unwavering support from local businesses for our first responders.

Trent Aubertin expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the cause, saying, “Supporting our first responders is an essential part of our community. By joining forces with the Lewiston Firefighters Charitable Foundation and Back the Blue, we can make a significant impact and assist Jim in his journey toward recovery. Jim and my father, Bill, are lifelong friends. My family stands together in showing our appreciation for the sacrifices made by Jim and all of our local heroes.”

In addition to the partnership with Snake River Arms, the Lewiston Firefighters Charitable Foundation is honored to collaborate with Back the Blue LCV, an organization dedicated to supporting and honoring law enforcement personnel in the LC Valley. Together, they send a powerful message of solidarity to those who protect and serve our community.

The charity raffle allows individuals and businesses to participate in this meaningful cause by purchasing tickets. Every ticket sold will directly benefit the injured Nez Perce County Volunteer Firefighter, offering crucial support during his healing process.

Tim Parker, President of Local 1773, emphasized the importance of collaboration and community support, stating, “We are deeply grateful for the partnership with Snake River Arms and Back the Blue. Their dedication to our first responders is exemplary, and together, we can make a positive difference in the life of Jim and his family. This joint effort showcases the strength and unity within our community.”

The Lewiston Firefighters Charitable Foundation, Snake River Arms, and Back the Blue encourage everyone to participate in this charitable endeavor by purchasing raffle tickets, demonstrating our collective gratitude and support for the injured firefighter. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, May 22nd, and will be sold until June 1st. The drawing will be held on June 2nd. Need not be present to win.
