Five local girls high school basketball teams competed in the State Championship Tournament today. All five won their games and will move on the the next round.
The next round will be played tomorrow.
Grangeville is ranked number one in the 2A division. They beat Kellogg 62-43. Friday they will play North Fremont at 4pm PST.
Lapwai is ranked number 3 in the 1A DI division. They beat Valley 64-27. Friday they will play Oakley at 6pm PST.
Prairie is ranked number 5 in the 1A DI division. They beat Murtaugh 66-54. Friday they will play Grace at 4pm PST.
Kendrick is ranked number 2 in the 1A DII division. They beat Leadore 57-24. Friday they will play Coucil at 1pm PST.
Deary is ranked number 4 in the 1A DII division. They beat Mackay 54/43. Friday they will play Dietrich at 11am PST.
