FREE MENTAL HEALTH/SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAINING

Courageous Survival is excited to announce four FREE days of Mental Health, Resiliency & Suicide Intervention training in the LC Valley on March 16-18 and in Grangeville on March 15. This multiple day training focuses on QPR (Question.Persuade.Refer) and ASSIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) style intervention techniques for suicide. Additional training will be provided on Resiliency, Resources and Peer Support. This training is HIGHLY recommended for first responders, veteran organizations, community members that work with the general public, or anyone who wants more knowledge on how to help others.

Training is FREE, but you MUST register to attend! Thank you to the following sponsoring organizations: Lewiston Fire Department, Quad County Fire Chiefs
Association, American Legion, Grangeville Elks Lodge, Idaho County Veterans Center,
Idaho State University, Institute of Rural Health, Courageous Survival and Center for
Hope.

All trainings are accredited through Idaho POST, CEU credits available. Certificates
provided for Fire/EMS to self-submit for CEUs.
