Gaddis Arrested After Burglary Reported- May Face More Charges on Findings of Cocaine

On April 6, 2024, at approximately 5:54 AM, Idaho County Dispatch received a call of a possible
burglary on Heath Drive in Riggins, Idaho. Deputies were dispatched to the scene and met with the
reporting party.

Information was obtained from the reporting party and the deputies went to speak with the suspect.
The suspect admitted to stealing the victim’s property and gave the stolen property back to the
deputies, where it was then given back to the reporting party.

Nicholas Gaddis, 40 years old, of Riggins, Idaho, was arrested for felony burglary X2, felony grand
theft X2, misdemeanor petit theft X2, misdemeanor trespassing, misdemeanor domestic battery,
misdemeanor intentional destruction of telecommunication instrument and misdemeanor using or
being under the influence of drugs.

A subsequent search warrant at Gaddis’s residence yielded the discovery of a substance that NIK
tested positive for cocaine which could result in more charges.
