(GENESEE, Idaho) — Genesee’s Little Pink House Gallery celebrates a decade of pop-up exhibits, with a second anniversary show titled TEN AGAIN. For ten years, owner and curator Ellen Vieth, has presented her own work as well as the works of dozens of other artists and makers, many who are regionally and nationally significant. TEN AGAIN takes place on Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27, at 157 North Elm Street in Genesee. Look for pink house signs on the routes into town. Exhibition hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both days, with private appointments available the week following the exhibit.
TEN AGAIN will feature many previous artists who have been a part of the exhibit schedule since its inception in 2014. “I’ll be pulling a few older works out of the vault as well as new paintings,” says Vieth. “Joining me will be woodworkers and sculptors, collagists, and ceramic artists, including Kristin Beckers’ new works, Lauren McCleary’s collage pieces, and new vessels from Noah Schuerman.”
Other works featured in TEN AGAIN include JJ Harty’s playful wall sculptures, new paintings by Jeanne Arnold, Stacy Isenbarger’s fabric sculptures and special edition velvet rocks, Ann Christensen’s new clay works, ceramic works by Jill Birshbach, stone and wood sculptures by Sequim artist Len Zeoli, and multi-media sculptures Lewiston artist Ray Esparsen and Jill Kyong.
Little Pink House Gallery, located in a studio on Vieth’s property, is painted one of the artist’s signature colors — pink. Her most recent work includes landscape- and garden-inspired paintings.
