MOSCOW ― Gritman Medical Center and the Moscow Food Co-op will host a free cooking class at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 9, on the second floor of the C.L. Gritman Medical Office Building, 803 S. Main St., Moscow.
The one-hour “Wholesome Creations Cooking Class” will be taught by Valerie Branson, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and Todd Unger, Food Services Director, from Gritman Medical Center, incorporating some ingredients purchased from the Moscow Food Co-op.
The cooking demonstration will feature:
- Moroccan Chicken Salad Bowl
- A colorful dish with grilled chicken, grapes, veggies and couscous.
- Blueberry Honey Citrus Salmon
- A simple salmon recipe with a sweet and tangy glaze.
- Green Chile Cheese Fries
- Healthier fries topped with spicy chilies and cheese.
The goal of the class is to offer both tasty and healthy recipes. Food samples and recipe cards will be available for attendees. Seating is limited. Please register for the class by emailing communityrelations@gritman.org.
