Alisha Alexander | Assistant Athletic Director-Sports Information

KIRLAND, Wash. – Alton Hamilton put together a career night with a massive 18-point, 17-rebound double-double to fuel LC State Men’s Basketball’s 88-69 victory over Northwest University on Saturday. The Warriors held a two-point lead at the half before a dominant 47-30 second frame to remain tied for the top spot in the Cascade Conference.

Davian Brown led the LC State scoring efforts with 21 points. The Warriors outrebounded the Eagles 45-33.

“Our guys gutted it out tonight in a wild atmosphere. Truly a team win,” Head Coach Austin Johnson said. “Davian had a phenomenal weekend both offensively and defensively and played like an all-league guy tonight. I thought Alton was the anchor that really kept us solid down the stretch in the second half with his rebounding and extra-effort plays. Super pleased with how our guys played the last two weeks away from home. Excited to see how they respond to the next challenge.”

The win moves LC State to 15-5 overall and 13-1 in CCC play.
