(White Bird, ID) On December 20, 2024, at approximately 10:00 PM, Idaho County Dispatch received a call advising there was a possible stolen vehicle in the White Bird area. The vehicle was stolen from Miles City, Montana.
The suspect of the stolen vehicle was a registered violent offender for assault on a peace officer. Idaho County deputies responded to the area and located the suspect and stolen vehicle.
Leslie Mabrey, age 64, was arrested for felony possession of a stolen vehicle, felony unlawful possession of a firearm, felony battery on an officer (6 counts), misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence of alcohol, felony threats and other improper influence in official and political matters, and misdemeanor resisting and obstructing (11 counts).
