(LEWISTON, ID) – Head Coach Zach Anderson announced the addition of Stephen Paul to the 2024-25 LC State Men’s Golf roster. The freshman from Kellogg, Idaho, will join the Warriors this fall.

“We are thrilled to welcome Stephen Paul to the men’s program,” Anderson said. “Stephen is coming in with a ton of high-level junior golf experience along with a few Idaho State championships on the high school tour. Stephen has many intangibles that will immediately impact our team from his golf background to his mental approach. We are excited to see what Stephen can accomplish during his time as a Warrior.”

Paul competed for Kellogg High School and won the State Championship individually twice. He averaged a score of 69.1 per round and also played basketball. The rising freshman qualified for the 2023 US Junior Amateur, a tournament for the top golfers under 18 in the world.

“With a great group of guys coming in this year, I believe the team is closer than ever in making it to the national level,” Paul said. “Coming off a long break due to a back injury I am hungrier than ever to get back out there and compete. To help this team achieve these goals I need to be the best teammate I can be on and off the course. I know I can contribute to this team right out the gate with my knowledge of the game, as well as my gameplay.”
