Judge Enters Not Guilty Plea on Behalf of Murder Suspect of Four University of Idaho Students

Moscow, Idaho – On May 22, 2023, at 9:00 a.m, Bryan Kohberger was set to have an arraignment at the Latah County District Court on murder chargers.

A Judge entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Bryan Kohberger on four counts of first degree murder and one count burglary.

Kohberger was charged with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin, in an off-campus home in Moscow last November.

If convicted Kohberger could face the death penalty.

The trial date is set for Oct. 2, 2023.
