LC State to host State Board of Education Oct. 16-17

LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College will host the Idaho State Board of Education (SBOE) on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 16-17, at the Williams Conference Center.

The meetings will begin at 9 a.m. on both days and will be streamed live at www.youtube.com/@lcstate. The full agenda is posted on the SBOE website.

LC State President Cynthia Pemberton will deliver the school’s annual report on Wednesday morning, and speak to presidential priorities, enrollment, and key initiatives and updates including LC State’s leadership role in prison education and north Idaho healthcare education.

Following Pemberton’s presentation, board members will be invited to tour LC State’s recently repaired and renovated Student Union Building/Center for Student Leadership, as well as the newly launched Healthcare Immersive Learning Lab in Sacajawea Hall.

Official census day enrollment totals will begin becoming available on Tuesday, Oct. 15, and the college will disseminate after this point.
