LC State Women’s Golf Ranked in Top 25 After Fall Season

(Lewiston, ID) Lewis-Clark State Women’s Golf wrapped up its fall season with a fourth-place finish at a competitive Thunderbird Invitational and the No. 25 spot in the latest NAIA poll. The Warriors now break for the winter to prepare for the spring season.

LC State finished behind No. 2 British Columbia and No. 19 Oregon Tech at the final Cascade Conference tournament of the fall. Isabella Barquet led the Warrior women in the stacked field with a tie for seventh after shooting a 2-under, 70 in the final round. LC State had three in top 25 of the 56-person field, including Chase Caruso and Dallis Shockey.

The Warriors finished in the top four at each of the four tournaments played in the fall, including a second-place team finish at the Briarwood Shootout hosted by NCAA Division II Montana State-Billings.

The ratings will update on March 13 as the spring portion of the season starts up. The spring schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
