LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History will hold three Artists in Conversation events as well as an arts workshop as part of its Over the Line: Regional Faculty Art Exhibition.
On Oct. 29 at the Center, located at 415 Main St. in Lewiston, Art & Nature will be the subject with artist Annie Cunningham of Eastern Washington University, Kelsey Grafton of LC State, and Aaron Johnson of the University of Idaho. The event will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on the First Floor Gallery and light refreshments will be served. LC State professor emeritus Rhett Diessner will be the moderator.
Following the discussion, Cunningham will hold a plant-dye arts workshop at noon-1 p.m. The event is free but limited to the first 25 who register. To register for the workshop, visit https://bit.ly/PlantDye.
On Nov. 2 at 6:30-7:45 p.m. on Zoom, the discussion will be Art & Social Science and will include artist M Acuff of Whitman College, Peter Christenson of Washington State University, and Chad Erpelding of Boise State University. The final discussion is on Art & Social Practice and will be held on Nov. 4 at 10:30-11:45 a.m. on Zoom. The artists are Amanda Leigh Evans of Whitman College and Kate Walker of Boise State.
