LCSC Volleyball Announces 2025 Youth Summer Camps

(Lewiston, ID) Head Coach Katie Palmer and the LC State Volleyball program announced another summer full of volleyball camps for all ages.

The Warriors will host their annual all-skills camp for girls and boys entering grades 6-12 on July 7-8. New this summer are two youth camp opportunities for girls and boys entering grades 2-6 will be held July 9 and July 29. Back by popular demand, the positional camp that allows campers to dive deeper into their specific position will be held July 28-29. In addition, LC State Volleyball will host an elite prospect camp for girls and boys entering grades 9-12 with extensive playing experience Aug. 1-2.

“It brings our program great joy to serve the community through our camp offerings,” Palmer said. “The addition of assistant coach Nick Bogar will elevate our camp environment through his decade of camp experience. I’m excited for returning campers to come see what is new.”

The all-skills camp is best suited for volleyball players who want to sharpen their skills in all areas of the game of volleyball and is great for all levels of experience. The camp is July 7-8 and includes 12 hours of instruction and a t-shirt for $175.

The positional camp is designed for volleyball players who want to take a deep dive into one or two specific positions and is great for intermediate to advanced levels of experience. The camp is July 28-29 and includes nine hours of instruction and a t-shirt for $150.

The youth camps are best suited for the younger volleyball enthusiast or beginners. Coach Palmer and the Warriors will introduce skills and concepts that make volleyball enjoyable. Offered on two separate dates, July 9 and July 29, the youth camps include three hours of instruction and a t-shirt for $75.

“In addition to the individual camps offered, we are hosting our Snake River Showdown high school team tournament again this summer,” Palmer added. “We had a very competitive tournament last summer with high schools coming from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. We look forward to building new connections with high school programs and showcasing how great LC State is as an athletic department and institution.”

The Snake River Showdown high school team tournament, slated for July 24-26, is for varsity level high school programs and offers a schedule of competitive play and on-court learning. High school coaches interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible as spaces is limited. Registration is $500 per team and includes 2.5 days of competition.

If you are unable to attend camp on campus, email coach Nick Bogar at [email protected] to set up a satellite camp so LC State Volleyball can bring the experience to you.

“An important aspect of the recruiting process is getting to know athletes on and off the court. Hosting an elite prospect camp allows our staff to see how quickly a potential recruit can make changes on the court,” Palmer added. “I encourage anyone interested in the program to join us in the gym Aug. 1 and 2 for an incredible training experience and an exclusive chance to watch the Warriors scrimmage.”

The elite prospect camp is best suited for athletes with extensive playing experience. The camp runs Aug. 1-2 and includes eight hours of instruction, t-shirt and access to the LC State Volleyball Blue vs. Red Scrimmage for $150.

All camp registration is limited to enhance the experience for each participant. Register HERE.
