Lewiston City Library to Host Idaho Arts Strategic Planning Session

(Lewiston, ID) The Lewiston City Library will host an Idaho Commission on the Arts Strategic Planning Listening Session on August 8 from 4 to 5:30 PM in the Library Event Space on the second floor. 

The listening session will be conducted by ICA Executive Director, Laura Curry: “We are planning our work for the next five years and conducting these state-wide tours to hear ideas from our constituents that will assist us in shaping future funding and services to the arts.” 

Accompanying Curry will be Lisa Mariam, National Endowment for the Arts Grants Management Specialist. She will review NEA grant opportunities including the Challenge America grant which offers $10,000 grant opportunities to small organizations that extend the reach of the arts to underserved groups and communities. 

Artists, arts organization administrators and board members, arts educators, patrons of the arts, community members and government officials interested in supporting arts in the community are encouraged to attend.
