(Lewiston, ID) At approximately 7:02 am, Lewiston Fire units responded to a report of a residential structure fire. On arrival, crews found smoke coming from the eaves and near the chimney. Crews made an offensive attack, quickly containing the fire to the room of origin. Crews remained on scene for approximately 45 minutes for overhaul.
There were no civilian or firefighter injuries. The fire remains under investigation, damage is estimated at $50,000.00. The Lewiston Fire Department responded with 3 engines, 3 medic units, and 5 chiefs for a total of 21 personnel on scene.
