(Lewiston, ID) Lewiston Police responded to the 400 block of 12th Street, in Lewiston, at 9:22 am on May 29, 2024, where a man had been shot. Upon arrival, Officers found a 53-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the leg. The man was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center for treatment. The man remained there in critical condition as of 2 pm that day.
Lewiston Police Detectives investigated the scene and interviewed the other man involved. The investigation indicates this was an isolated incident stemming from a neighbor dispute. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Det. Brian Erickson.

The man who was shot and transported to St. Joeseph Regional Medical Center is now in stable condition. Local Law Enforcement continues to investigate the incident.
