Local Artist’s Work on Display in the Lewiston City Library

LEWISTON – The artwork of Lynne Haagensen was recently installed in the Lewiston City Library. The two series, Block Party: Storied Houses of the
Palouse and Swatches of History: Texture and Time, combine ink drawings with collage which are then digitally printed. Merging classic architectural drawings with color and texture, the two series are available for public enjoyment at the library through late May as part of the library’s rotating art installations.

A professor emerita from the University of Idaho, Lynne has spent time in Spain, Canada, Sweden, and our local region perfecting her artwork. As a local artist, she created these two series specifically for the library’s niches found above the adult nonfiction and fiction collection.
