OROFINO – The Idaho State Police are investigating a fatality crash that occurred on US12 at milepost 54 at 7:43 PM on April 25th, 2024.
A blue Nissan Sentra, driven by a 32-year-old female from Lewiston, Idaho, was traveling westbound on US12 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The female driver was deceased on scene.
The passenger, a 40-year-old male from Orofino was transported to the area hospital.
Seatbelts were not worn by either occupant. The road was blocked for approximately 2.5 hours. Next of kin has been notified.
